Brooklyn Museum
The Brooklyn Museum, housed in a 560,000-square-foot, Beaux-Arts building, is one of the oldest and largest art museums in the United States. Its world-renowned permanent collections range from ancient Egyptian masterpieces to contemporary art and represent a wide range of cultures.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Obama Portraits Tour
Through the internship program under the graphic design department, I participated in brainstorming sessions for The Obama Portraits Tour to generate a distinctive style for the upcoming presentation at Brooklyn Museum. Few proposed designs were created with branding guidelines set out by other graphic designers in the team. The advertising collateral for this exhibition includes billboards, bus stop ads, and web ad banners.
Marketing Collaterals
Apart from the exhibition, several bookmark designs were proposed for the museum’s upcoming events, along with a matching Instagram post. The cafe inside the Brooklyn Museum, The Norm, was also going through a rebranding. Single and double-sided menu designs of were conceptualized to tie into the new restaurant image.
